My name is Erica Bluestone, LCSW, and I am a dedicated and compassionate licensed clinical social worker licensed in New Jersey with a strong passion for working with children and families. With over 10 years of experience in the field, I have developed a deep understanding of the complex social issues affecting individuals in these important stages of life. Throughout my career, I have focused on providing support and guidance to children, adolescents, and families facing various challenges. I believe in the power of early intervention and am committed to helping children develop healthy coping mechanisms, resilience, and positive relationships that will lay the foundation for their future success. I specialize in trauma-informed Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and am skilled in conducting comprehensive assessments of children’s social and emotional well-being, collaborating with families to develop personalized treatment plans, and implementing evidence-based interventions tailored to meet their unique needs.

I am well-versed in working with families from diverse backgrounds and take a strengths-based approach to empower them in navigating difficult situations. What truly drives my work is my love for walking alongside children from childhood through their adolescent years. I am passionate about helping young people identify, express, and work through their feelings during some of life’s most formative and challenging moments. There is nothing more rewarding to me than watching a child grow, learn, and discover their own strength along the way. With a warm and empathetic demeanor, I establish strong connections with both children and their families, creating a safe and nurturing environment where they can openly express their concerns and work towards solutions together. I provide counseling, advocacy, and support to address issues related to child development, behavioral challenges, family dynamics, trauma, and other relevant areas. In addition to my clinical work, I am a certified parent coach and certified facilitator of the Nurturing Parenting Program, supporting parents and caregivers in developing effective strategies to strengthen their relationships with their children and navigate the challenges of raising kids at every stage.

I believe that when parents feel supported and empowered, the whole family thrives. I also collaborate closely with schools, healthcare professionals, and community organizations to ensure a comprehensive support network is in place. I believe in the importance of working as a team to create positive change and improve the overall well-being of the families I serve. I hold a Master’s degree in Social Work from Rutgers University and hold certifications as a parent coach and in the Nurturing Parenting Program. I remain dedicated to ongoing professional development, staying up-to-date on the latest research and best practices in child and family services. My unwavering commitment and genuine passion for making a positive difference in the lives of children and families are evident in my daily work.
