FAQ
What services do you provide?
We offer a range of integrated services including dyslexia intervention, academic tutoring, executive functioning support, speech and language therapy, counseling, parent coaching, cognitive support, and IEP advocacy. Services can be provided as stand-alone support or as part of a coordinated, whole-child plan.
Do you provide services in-person or virtually?
We offer both in-person and virtual services. This allows families to access consistent, high-quality support based on their schedule, location, and preferences.
How is your approach different from traditional tutoring?
We go beyond homework help. Our approach is structured, individualized, and clinically informed. We focus not only on academic skills, but also on the underlying cognitive, language, and emotional factors that impact learning.
Do you follow a specific program?
We do not rely on a one-size-fits-all program. Instead, we use evidence-based practices and tailor instruction and support to each student’s unique learning profile.
Do you work with students with dyslexia?
Yes. We provide structured, multisensory literacy instruction delivered by Orton-Gillingham certified providers. Our approach also incorporates speech-to-print principles and is individualized to support reading, spelling, writing, and comprehension.
Do you support students with ADHD and executive functioning challenges?
Yes. We provide individualized, strategy-based support to help students improve organization, time management, attention, and self-regulation. Our goal is to build independence across school, home, and daily life.
Do you offer speech and language therapy?
Yes. We provide speech and language services to support expressive and receptive language, communication, and social interaction. These services can also be integrated with academic and cognitive support when appropriate.
Do you provide counseling services?
Yes. We offer counseling using a trauma-informed, whole-child approach. We support students with emotional regulation, anxiety, confidence, and social-emotional development.
Do you work with students who have multiple challenges (e.g., dyslexia, ADHD, anxiety)?
Yes. Many students have overlapping needs. Our integrated model allows us to address academic, cognitive, and emotional factors together, rather than treating them in isolation.
Do you provide evaluations or testing?
We provide targeted academic and cognitive assessments, including reading, writing, math, and learning profile screenings (such as Mindprint). These assessments help identify strengths and areas of need to guide intervention.
Do you diagnose ADHD, dyslexia, or autism?
No. We do not provide medical or clinical diagnoses. If a comprehensive evaluation is needed, we refer families to trusted neuropsychologists and specialists within our professional network.
Do you offer Independent Educational Evaluations (IEEs)?
Yes. We provide Independent Educational Evaluations (IEEs) to help families better understand their child’s learning needs and support educational planning and IEP development.
Do you provide IEP advocacy?
Yes. We support families in understanding evaluations, preparing for meetings, and communicating effectively with schools. We can also attend meetings when appropriate to help ensure student needs are clearly addressed.
Do you work with homeschooled students?
Yes. We provide homeschooling support including curriculum planning, direct instruction, and ongoing guidance. Services can be fully virtual or in-person and are tailored to each child’s needs.
Do you offer parent coaching?
Yes. We provide parent coaching to help families understand diagnoses, sensory needs, and behavior. Our approach is trauma-informed and relationship-based, with practical strategies that can be used at home and in daily routines.
Do you offer behavioral support (BCBA services)?
We offer BCBA-led behavioral consultation to help families understand and manage behavior challenges. This is a consultative service focused on practical strategies and does not include ABA therapy.
Do you work with other professionals?
Yes. We collaborate with a network of trusted professionals, including neuropsychologists, occupational therapists, audiologists, pediatricians, and mental health providers to ensure comprehensive, coordinated care.
How do I know what service my child needs?
You don’t need to figure that out alone. We start with a consultation to understand your concerns and recommend the most appropriate next steps based on your child’s profile.
How do I get started?
The first step is to book a consultation. From there, we will determine the best plan of support for your child and family.
